BMW E30, E36 and E46: restoration and rare 3D printed parts
Partager
E30: Interior Essentials
The E30's understated dashboard features control covers, defroster buttons, and air vents that are becoming sought-after parts. In dark gray or black ABS, these small pieces are reproduced with remarkable fidelity.
E36: Aging Plastics
Window switch controls, handbrake lever covers, and center consoles can be faithfully reproduced when the original plastics are damaged or broken.
E46: Growing Demand
The E46 is entering the category of 20-year-old cars where parts are starting to become scarce. Mirror controls, climate control buttons, and steering column covers are the first parts requested.
Finishing: Key to Success
For BMWs, we prefer to work with painted resin or post-treated ABS (sanding + textured spray) to achieve the fine grain finish characteristic of BMW interiors.
